Bolton Hindu Forum was established in 2000 and is a registered charity in England. The Forum was set up to establish and maintain a cohesive link between all the Hindu community organisations in Bolton. The Forum is an umbrella body which effectively engages with the view to identify, develop, and promote common interests in all aspects of social, religious, health, economic and political spheres. It strives to identify and address the issues and needs to responsibly represent and serve the interest of the community at large and integrate the wider community.
BHF is engaged in various community projects such as Sports training, Hindu Funereal Services, help the elderly, subsidised tiffin service, creating awareness among our community and many more.
At BHF we invite like like minded people to join us as a ‘Working Committee Member’ (WCM). BHF places great value on the involvement of volunteers in its work in various ways ranging from office and clerical tasks to decision and policy making in Committees. WCM help enhance the range and quality of services provided by BHF by putting their time, skills, knowledge, or experience at its disposal. They help keep BHF’s work relevant to the community by bringing a range of personalities, backgrounds, and experience into the organisation.
We have been active for over 20 years and have had many events such as Diwali on Square, Ghar Ghar Navratri, Diwali 2020, Ghar Ghar Christmas. Manoranjan Video, Shopping Services, Sport Mela and more. We are now looking for Volunteers with a passion to join as a Working Committee Member at BHF, who will gain invaluable experience working and a sense of achievement by giving back to people in and around your area. Bring your knowledge and experience to BHF!

We are recruiting for volunteer roles in the following areas below. Some of our roles will be to engage with BHF Members and others will have an equally important role to play behind the scenes. When applying, think about the areas that would suit your personality and skills best.
