About Us

 

Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence has the distinction of highlighting artistic and linguistic diversity of India including endangered languages such as Bishnupriya Manipuri, Saurashtra, Meitei among others.

The Centre researched and highlighted rare tribal dances of India from Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Maharashtra, Karnataka etc.

Sanskruti also has the distinction of using dance for socially and culturally important subjects and has presented during various panel discussions at the Houses of British Parliament, some first of their kind, such as at World Hunger Day, United Nations World Water Day, World Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, World Health Day, International Mother Language Day, World Hunger Day, among others.


Objectives:

  • To advance art, culture and heritage of India, with a focus on dance forms.
  • To provide training in performing arts and develop social skills in learners.
  • To carry research and promote lesser seen folk art forms aiding in cross cultural awareness
